Last Sunday we blessed our little Emily Lauren.  It was a beautiful, special day.  Our families came to church with us so they could be there for Emily's big day.  She looks so sweet in her blessing gown.
Here is our whole family.  All eight of us.  Crazy, but wonderful.
Two weeks before that, Brennan was ordained as a Priest in the Aaronic Priesthood, in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  It was also a wonderful day.  I am so proud of Brennan and his good choices.  He is turning out to be a wonderful young man.  (don't tell him I said so, but he is darling with his little sisters)
Brennan is taller than both of us now.  He got his driver's licence a two weeks ago.  It is so strange to have him driving, but also VERY helpful.  He loves running errands for me.  I don't know how long that will last, but I'm going to take advantage of it while I can.

  1. Carol,

We love having Nathan available to run errands too. It's been especially nice while we've been dealing with my cancer. Congratulations on Emily's big day and on Brennan's ordination. Keep up the good work, Mom.

    Love and hugs,
    Steve and Carla

  2. You have such a beautiful family! You are definitely blessed. I admire your talent to raise these wonderful children. Like Steve said, keep up the good work, Mom!

  3. Hey I also got a new blog :) Make sure to add me :)))
